| Ingredients: |
| 1 cup of cooked pinto beans 2 eggs 2 cups sugar 1 cup margarine 1 Tblsp. vanilla pecans optional Cook beans till soft no seasoning. |
| In a bowl mash the beans very well. In another bowl beat eggs and sugar. Add melted margarine and vanilla. Add mashed beans to mixture. Pour into a 9 inch unbaked pie shell. Bake 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees. This recipe was given to me by a 90 year old grandmother from New Braunfels, Texas. Her family is German and very creative with pinto beans. Enjoy! |
