| 1/2 cup butter softened 2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. milk 3 c. unbleached flour 1/2 c. chopped pecans 3 bananas |
| Our family's favorite banana bread. Another really good recipe from Granda Karen. Moist and delicious. Serve warm with a pat of butter! We hope you enjoy making it and eating it, too! |
| Creme the butter, sugar and eggs. Add baking soda to milk then mix in with butter mixture. In a separate bowl slice bananas and mash. Add to butter mixture. Add flour to butter mixture one cup at a time. Makes 2 loaves. Bake at 300 - 325 for about 1 hour or until golden brown. Let the loaves cool for 30 minutes and serve warm with butter. Is also delicious cool with vanilla ice cream. |
